Their name, printed with them
Every portrait carries your pet's name across the bottom. Not a caption — part of the artwork, set in the same type, spaced to sit properly under them.
It's the detail that turns a nice picture of a dog into a portrait of your dog. Guests read the name before they ask the breed.
You'll type it in when you upload the photo. Spell it the way you say it.
If it isn't right, we fix it
Every portrait is drawn by hand from your photo, and the two of us look at each one before it prints. If what arrives doesn't look like them, tell us — we'll redraw it, reprint it, or refund you. No forms, no restocking fee, no thirty-day window to keep track of.

Art should span roughly two thirds of the width of whatever it hangs over. A 6 ft sofa wants roughly 4 ft across.

Gifting
Buying it for someone else
Birthdays, new homes, a new dog or cat joining the family — portraits travel well as gifts because they're personal without being complicated.
If it's for a specific date, say so at checkout. We'll tell you honestly whether it's doable.
For a pet you've lost
If the portrait is for a pet that's passed, mention it in the order notes. There's no rush on our end, and we'll handle the photo with care.

What if it doesn't look like my pet?
Then we make it right. Tell us and we'll redraw it, reprint it, or refund you — your call. If you'd rather catch it earlier, add Artwork preview at checkout and we'll send the finished piece to your inbox before it goes to print.
What kind of photo should I send?
Face on, at their eye level, in daylight. Head, ears and a bit of chest in frame. Photos taken from above, heavy filters, and shots where they're lying down are the ones that fight us. A phone photo by a window usually beats anything staged.
Can I see it before you print it?
Yes, as an add-on. Tick Artwork preview at checkout and we'll email the finished piece within 24 hours, before production, so you can ask for changes. Without it we go straight to print, which is quicker. Either way the guarantee stands.
How big will it be on the wall?
The size you choose is the artwork. The frame adds roughly an inch all round, so an 8×10 hangs as about 10×12, a 12×16 as 14×18, an 18×24 as 20×26. Torn between two? Cut the bigger one out of newspaper and tape it to the wall for a day. It sounds silly and it settles the question every time.
How long does it take?
Around a week to your door in the US: a couple of days to draw and print, a few more to ship. If it's for a particular date, tell us at checkout and we'll say honestly whether it's doable rather than promise and miss.
